after getting many "likes" and positive comments on facebook, i would now like to share my "note" through this platform... this is to raise my concern (on behalf of the general people) about the corruption due to the phenomenon named Commonwealth Games2010. It sure was an extraordinary event, with malfunctions, dishonesty, and extravagance as its highlighting characteristics. From the amount of money and resources, to the importance which it got, everything seemed way above the limit.The role of media is also noticeable and questionable here. When ‘It’ was aburning issue, everyone cashed it; now that it’s not, no one seems to be bothered enough to bring at least one story about it- the modus operandi, the investigations that are going, if at all they are in process. After being there at the top of all charts, it seems to have lost even thebottom place and, has managed to sneak out from the back door. Perhaps the government has Harry Potter's ‘invisible cloak‘under which the matter stayshidden now. It would be interesting to find how much was 'paid' to borrow it from J.K. Rowling. I would like to earnestly request anyone, and everyone to join me in thiseffort (through your views, comments, etc), and disrobe the cloak, and let truth prevail... hope our effort will awake at least one person who can stirthe stagnant pond of corrupt fishes.
